These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of LinkSentinel, a WordPress plugin developed and managed by Pragmatic Bear ("we," "us," or "our"). By installing, accessing, or using LinkSentinel, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use LinkSentinel.
1.1 Service Description. LinkSentinel is a WordPress plugin designed to monitor, detect, and resolve internal link health issues on WordPress websites. The service includes:
1.2 Beta Status. LinkSentinel is currently in Beta. Features, functionality, and performance may change without notice. We make no guarantees regarding feature availability, stability, or backwards compatibility during the Beta period.
1.3 Managed Service Integration. LinkSentinel is included as part of our Grizzly and Polar managed WordPress service plans. Access to LinkSentinel requires an active managed service subscription with Pragmatic Bear.
1.4 Service Limitations. LinkSentinel is designed for internal link management only. It does not monitor external links, manage redirects outside of WordPress, or guarantee specific SEO outcomes.
2.1 License Grant. Subject to these Terms and your active managed service subscription, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use LinkSentinel on WordPress websites covered by your managed service plan.
2.2 Authorized Installations. You may install LinkSentinel only on WordPress websites that are actively managed under your Pragmatic Bear service plan. Each installation must be associated with an active managed service agreement.

2.4 Ownership. LinkSentinel and all intellectual property rights therein remain the exclusive property of Pragmatic Bear. These Terms do not grant you any ownership rights in LinkSentinel.
3.1 Data Collection. LinkSentinel collects and processes the following data on your WordPress installation:

3.3 Data Security. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your WordPress installation, including database access controls and backup procedures. We recommend regular database backups before performing bulk link operations.
3.4 Data Retention. LinkSentinel retains scan and fix logs in your database until manually deleted or until the plugin is uninstalled. You may export or delete this data at any time through the plugin interface.
3.5 Privacy Compliance. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of LinkSentinel complies with applicable privacy laws and regulations, including GDPR, CCPA, and other data protection requirements.
4.1 Support Channels. Support for LinkSentinel is provided as part of your managed service plan. Support requests should be submitted through your designated support channel (email, support portal, or as specified in your service agreement).
4.2 Response Times. Support response times are governed by your managed service plan level (Grizzly or Polar). Beta software issues may require additional investigation and resolution time.
4.3 Updates and Maintenance. We will provide updates, bug fixes, and security patches for LinkSentinel as part of your managed service. Updates may be applied automatically or manually depending on your service plan configuration.
4.4 Service Availability. While we strive for maximum uptime, we do not guarantee uninterrupted access to LinkSentinel. Scheduled maintenance, updates, or unforeseen technical issues may temporarily affect plugin functionality.
4.5 Beta Limitations. During the Beta period, LinkSentinel is provided "as available" with no guaranteed service levels. Features may be added, modified, or removed without prior notice.
5.1 Termination by You. You may stop using LinkSentinel at any time by deactivating or uninstalling the plugin from your WordPress installation. Termination of your managed service plan will automatically terminate your license to use LinkSentinel.
5.2 Termination by Us. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to LinkSentinel immediately if:

5.4 Effect of Termination. Upon termination, your license to use LinkSentinel immediately ceases. You must deactivate and uninstall the plugin from all WordPress installations. Data stored by LinkSentinel will remain in your database unless manually deleted.
5.5 Survival. Sections 2.4 (Ownership), 3 (Data Handling), 6 (Liability Disclaimer), and 7 (General Provisions) survive termination of these Terms.
6.1 "AS IS" Provision. LINKSENTINEL IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
6.2 Beta Software Disclaimer. AS BETA SOFTWARE, LINKSENTINEL MAY CONTAIN BUGS, ERRORS, OR DEFECTS. WE MAKE NO WARRANTY THAT LINKSENTINEL WILL BE ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR OPERATE WITHOUT INTERRUPTION.
6.3 No SEO Guarantees. We make no guarantees regarding SEO performance, search engine rankings, website traffic, or any other business outcomes resulting from your use of LinkSentinel. Link health is one of many factors affecting SEO performance.
6.4 Data Loss Disclaimer. While LinkSentinel includes logging and preview features, we are not responsible for any data loss, content corruption, or unintended changes to your WordPress content. You are solely responsible for maintaining backups of your website data.
6.5 Limitation of Liability. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL PRAGMATIC BEAR BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR USE, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF LINKSENTINEL, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
6.6 Maximum Liability. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR LINKSENTINEL SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR YOUR MANAGED SERVICE PLAN IN THE THREE (3) MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO LIABILITY.
6.7 Indemnification. You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Pragmatic Bear and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to your use of LinkSentinel, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another party.
6.8 Assumption of Risk. You acknowledge and agree that you use LinkSentinel at your own risk. You are solely responsible for reviewing and approving all changes before applying them to your WordPress content.
7.1 Changes to Terms. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of LinkSentinel after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
7.2 Entire Agreement. These Terms, together with your managed service agreement, constitute the entire agreement between you and Pragmatic Bear regarding LinkSentinel and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
7.3 Severability. If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
7.4 Waiver. Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that provision or any other provision.
7.5 Governing Law. These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
7.6 Dispute Resolution. Any disputes arising out of or related to these Terms or LinkSentinel shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in court for intellectual property violations.
